Dear Highlands Families and Friends,

The Highlands Auction is an amazing school fundraiser and last year’s auction was an extremely fun event.  Parents danced the night away to awesome music while bidding on hundreds of auction items. We raised over $20,000 last year, and this year we are hoping to double that amount!

We are certain that the 2019 Highlands Auction will be one of our most productive fundraisers of the school year. Your Auction Committee is hard at work planning and organizing this event, The Highlands Boots and Bling Auction!


This spring, the auction will be held at Back Forty restaurant on March 1st, 2019.   We can’t wait to plan the menu and decorate the ballroom, but before all of that happens we need your support!


 Here are ways to support the 2019 Highlands Auction:

Cash Donation
Corporate Matching-Ask your employer to match your cash donation. 

Here are some creative ideas for donations, as well as a wish list:


Gift certificates to wineries and wine tasting

Unique experience with corporation

Cocktail party or wine tasting for a small group held at the home of the winning bidder

Host a cake decorating party for a set amount of children

Mother/Daughter Luncheon or tea party

Dinner party for a set amount of people held at the home of the winning bidder

Father/Son Movie Night complete with pizza and popcorn

Sports or Cheerleading Clinic


Auction is also a good opportunity for businesses to promote themselves within our school community. Sponsors’ names and logos will be printed in our auction catalog and will be posted on our auction and school websites, along with a hyperlink to their company website. This is a great way to advertise – reaching 650 families and friends in the local community. Please contact us if your business or if you know of a business that would like to sponsor our school auction.


While we are working very hard to make this a great event, we still NEED your generosity to make this a successful and fun event. All donations are tax deductible.  Our tax ID number is 68-014-7051. 


Donations can be given to your child’s teacher or left in the school office. You may also pick up more donation forms in the office. Thank you for supporting Highlands Elementary and helping to make our children’s future brighter.
